ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë adopts balanced budget

The Council of Commissioners of the ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë has  adopted a balanced budget, with revenues of $438.5 million for the 2024-2025 academic year.

As permitted by Budgetary Rules, the ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë has included in next year’s budget the equivalent of 15 percent of the adjusted June 30, 2023 accumulated surplus.  This will allow the board to benefit from an amount of  $9.7 million of additional funds.

With a youth and adult sector population of more than 35,000 students, the ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë (ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë) is the largest English public school board in Quebec. Established on July 1, 1998, when the province created new boards along linguistic lines, the ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë network consists of 73 schools and centres.
